To whoever brought the “Weber’s Art of The Grill Deck” To Me At The Dock- Thank You

It’s never particularly fun going to work at 4AM every day.  But when you have a thoughtful  gift sitting on your desk,  well that makes it much more bearable.

So thank you,  and write in to let me know who you are.

2002-

Well you can cross the classic @webergrills Redhead off the must have list

Thanks Km Smith For Picking It Up a For Me.

It’s a 1992 O Code.

Picked up an oscillating tool to lop off what’s left of the one touch system in the bottom. There’s one of the wooden handles missing. The legs will clean up fine I’m thinking.

A few chips on the bowl.

She’ll be a cooker for sure. Probably spring for a new ash pan, ash sweeps and sand and spar varnish the handles that are on there. That’s the plan for now. I’m super anxious to see how much of the original color I can get back. She’s faded some but I’m thinking with some love and care it’s going to be gorgeous.

Smoking Stuffed Cherry Peppers On The @webergrills Performer

Just hit the grill with a little bit of apple wood. Our buddy Pete aboard the Mighty F/V Degelyse stuffed them himself.

Smoking offset the coals.  Check back in an hour for the results.

Advice Please- Butcher Block Grill Cart Restoration Project

Found this cart locally and figure it will make a nice little staging area for the grill. I enjoyed the last grill table restore project but I’m thinking about going in a slightly different direction with this one.

You can check out the last project here-

Update: Day Two Grill Staging Table Preservation Project

Here’s the new cart-

It’s got some staining on the top.  On the last project I used spar varnish and the table came out great but on this one I’m thinking about sanding and then applying a stain of some sort and then Bobby Bobskill recommended a product called Poly Wipe.  Anyone ever heard of it?

Anyone know what kind of wood this is and does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of product they would apply if it is to be left outside?
