Finally got around to making the butcher block paste and reconditioning the block, she certainly sucked up the oil. The paste is made up of beeswax and food grade mineral oil.

So…. tried out the block paste on an unfinished handle I had a bottle opener on, hell of a difference after a couple of coats!!

Nice!! I love how he used cross sectional cut for the top. I dont think Ive seen that before.
